Who are we? The Sisterhood of Temple Beth Elohim is a strong and diverse community of women. We are young mothers, grandmothers, sisters, friends of the community, newcomers wanting to meet people, old-timers sharing the legacy of the past, stay-at-home moms, single working mothers, as you can see, we are every women. Our varied interests are reflected in the diversity of programs we offer and in the scope of causes we support. We offer Zumba lessons, favorite recipe dinners, Sukkot wine and cheese night, Mah Jong lessons, social night out , co-sponsor a family bingo night, game night, paid up membership dinner along with many other Sisterhood activities. The Sisterhood assists with financial support for many of our Temple Events including Bar and Bat Mitzvah gifts, holiday packages for our college students, and fund the High Holy Days babysitting service.
As a welcoming gift from Sisterhood all new Temple members receive their first year’s Sisterhood membership free. Our annual dues is $45.00.
We meet once a month on Sunday morning.
Please feel free to come down to one of our meeting as our guest for breakfast and a meeting and check us out.
Joining Sisterhood will become a great experience to meet new people. You don’t have to volunteer for anything just enjoy being part of this special arm of the Temple.
